San Diego

I have a really good excuse for not posting in over a week; we have been in San Diego with my Mom's family. It was a BLAST!! We had so much fun. We spent time at the beach, Coronado Island, site seeing, fishing, Sea World, Lego land, Padres game, and just hanging out at the pool.
There were 18 of us total from my Mom's side of the family. We stayed with my Uncle Steve and Rob, who hosted the event.

Coronado Island, the beach, site seeing
- Jason had the best time on the beach. He loved to dig his chubby little fingers in the sand and chase the birds.
-Grandma and Tyler collected lots of seashells.

Hanging out by the pool

-Both boys loved the pool. Tyler said this was his favorite thing during vacation.

-The adults had a great time playing volleyball in the pool.

SeaWorld

-This was by far the favorite place of the vacation. The boys had a BLAST!! They have a Sesame Street play area for kids that is amazing!

-Tyler chased Elmo to get a picture with him - he was mesmerized by the characters!

-Jason and Grandpa had a great time in the water fountains.

-The boys had a wrestling match in the little bounce area.

-Jason could not get enough of the giant sand box!

-Aunt Courtney was worn out after SeaWorld, but the boys were still going strong!

The Beach

-Our first beach trip was just to walk around for a few minutes, but we had so much fun we went back one morning.

-My dad had the best time in the waves with Shelby and Dixon.

-Tyler and Grandma built sand castles and buried Tyler.

-Jason was in heaven with a bucket and shovel!

Legoland

-This was our last adventure of the trip, and well worth it.

-Tyler absolutely LOVED the rides! There were a few that we were not sure he would like (Beetle Bounce and the roller coaster) and he loved them and laughed the whole time.

-There was a mini race track that Tyler could drive a car on, and he just LOVED it. I think he rode it like 10 times. He had a HUGE smile when he got done every single time. One smile made the whole trip worth it!

-Jason was too little to do most of the rides, but he got in a great nap and had fun driving the cars.

-Everything was made of Legos - the people we are posing with below and the city. It was a neat place - but geared towards kids between 3-9.

Grandma just realized what she got herself into and it is too late to back out!

Cha Cha

About a month ago I decided that I needed to find a part time job that I could do from home. I spent several weeks just searching the internet for legitimate online jobs. I finally found a company called Cha Cha. I filled out an application, took a couple of tests and within a matter of days, I had a job. I am sure most of you have not heard of Cha Cha - it is a human-powered search and answers service. They deliver answers via txt or PC, anytime, anywhere. So, you can send a text message to 242242 with any question you can think of, and then a guide, like me, will search the internet for the answer and send you a text back. It is actually really cool and addicting! I love the job, but so far it hasn't paid real great! I get paid per question that I answer. I can work when ever I want to, for as long as I want to.

Go ahead - give it a try. It is a free service, so you will not be charged to send a quesion. The only charges depend on the text service you have with your cell phone. The strangest quesion I have had so far is: How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop? The answer: 457-467!

Text 242242 or call 1-800-2ChaCha

Roses

Here are a few shots of the beautiful roses in our front yard. I was afraid that they were not going to come back this year because they looked really sad in the spring. Jason would go up and smell them with his mouth open.

We are enjoying a few days of silence in our house because Tyler stayed with my parents until Thursday. Poor Jason has been lost without his buddy, but he likes being able to play with anything in the house without someone coming to take it away.

Happy Father's Day

We spent Father's Day weekend in Rangely with my parents, sisters and brother-in-law. We had a lot of fun riding on the boat, swimming, and of course, eating. My mom made a really cute "shirt" cake and had Tyler and Jason decorate the tie.

Quinton and their little peanut! (Court is 10 weeks along)

Elder Harrison

Jimmy's sister, Denise, and her husband, Alan and their son, Christopher, came out to bring Chris to the MTC. They are spending a few days with us before he goes in. We spent the day at Temple Square today and had a great time.
