Time flies when you are having fun

Sometimes I don't know where the days go. It seems like May just started and here we are with only a few days left before June. I have taken lots of pictures intending to post them and it just never happened, so here is our "fun" for the last two weeks:

Fishing with Grandpa and Daddy:
We didn't actually catch anything, but the boys had fun. I had a hard time keeping Jason out of the water. Tyler is excited to go fishing in Grandpa's boat next time.

FEED ME
Jason has a major sweet tooth!! He is a bottomless pit! The kid can eat all day long. He eats his own breakfast, runs to the kitchen as soon as he hears Jimmy opening the cereal, finishes Tyler's waffle and eats some of my cereal. Then he wants a granola bar! This is a typical morning for us :-)

My first ice cream sandwich - I ate the WHOLE thing!

Oreo cookies!!

Boys!
The other day Tyler went to play in the back yard. I did not think much of it, but decided I better just see what he was up to. As I looked out the window, I saw him standing there with his shirt up . He was kind of looking around and playing with his pants. Pretty soon, he pulls his pants down and just lets loose in my flowers!! I just watched, and got the camera! It was kind of funny, but when he did this same thing in the front yard, it was not quite as funny!

Christmas lights

Tyler has been way into building houses and forts with every cushion and pillow in the house. Yesterday he told Jimmy that he needed help putting up his Christmas lights. So the two of them, following Tyler's directions, put blocks all along the back of the couch for lights. Tyler is very creative and is always coming up with something new to make or build.

Tyler Matches!!

I had to take pictures of Tyler today because his clothes actually matched, and he looked really cute! I finally bought him some jean shorts (since they go with everything). Of course, he did not want to wear any of the cute shirts that I had picked out, but I was still thrilled with his decision. I asked Tyler to make funny faces in the 2nd and 3rd pictures.

This is Tyler's fort or house. He has been way into building "pillow houses". Every morning he gathers the pillows from all over the house and wants us to make a house for him. Then we have to go knock on his door to see if he is home.

Tyler was hard at work this afternoon building something to take to church. We had a potluck dinner at church and Tyler said that he needed to make something for it. This kid has quite the imagination!! He had every piece of wood he could find in our garage out in the driveway.

Who, me?

I was in the kitchen trying to start dinner and the boys were in the living room playing. It got VERY quiet in there and I knew that something was going on, but I didn't care because I needed just a few minutes. When I finally did see what was going on, I found an entire box of diapers spread out on the floor.

Jason LOVES food!! You cannot eat anything in front of him without sharing. This picture is Jimmy sharing a Little Debbie snack with him after dinner. If Jason hears Jimmy opening the bag of cereal in the morning, he goes tearing down the stairs to have some! This morning he brought me a bowl and spoon - apparently he wanted breakfast :-)

Jason was playing at the little table today and I turned my back for a few seconds and Jason decided to taste a marker. He likes to be a big boy like his brother.

This is how Tyler came out of his room the other day when I asked him to go get dressed. He is such a nut! I don't fight the clothes battle, so he does have some wild outfits some days. I did ask him to go back and try again.

Here a little, there a little

These are just a few pictures of what we have been up to the past couple of weeks.

Courtney and Quinton graduate from BYU!! YEAH!! Quinton got accepted to grad school at Boise State, so they will be moving up there next month.

This picture was taken at the graduation party. Jason is actually laughing (or fake laughing) if you can believe it. He would throw his head back an open his mouth as wide as he could and make a funny noise. Then, of course, we would all start laughing and that would make him do it even more.

Hogle Zoo!!

Jason loved playing in the turtle shell at the zoo.

Jen watched the boys for me one day and when I went to pick them up, this is how I found Jason - sound asleep in the high chair!! Why doesn't he ever do that for me???

We borrowed Tiffany's bike trailer the other day and had a blast with it. So, of course, Tyler had to have a trailer for his bike to give Jason a ride. (this was the best trailer we could rig - he did not give Jason a ride just in case you were wondering :-)

This was our weekend project. My sister, Tiffany, came to help watch the kids so Jimmy and I could work. We took out all of the bark that was in this area and lots of dirt and replaced it with red, rubber mulch. It looks really nice and is much softer for the kids to play on.
