Thanksgiving

We had a small Thanksgiving at our house with my parents. I would say it was quiet too, but that is never the case with 2 kids in the house! We had a good time and ate lots of food!
My mom brought stuff to make indian and turkey hats, but Tyler was not interested in wearing one for a picture. Jason, on the other hand, did not mind having them on. Tyler made a sail boat with his Daddy's help and had to go test it out in the bathtub - thanks Uncle Joe for the fun kits from Lowe's!

Daddy's little helper

We put up our Christmas lights a few weeks ago and Tyler was outside helping us, except he thought that the sprinklers needed fixed. I knew that he was 'fixing' them, but he does that all the time and it is no big deal. Well, this time I looked over and he had pulled the whole pipe out of the ground! I thought it was hilarious, but Jimmy didn't think so!! He was just doing exactly what he has seen his Daddy do on other sprinklers. The picture was after I tried to fix it a little bit.

New Do

I was sick of my long, straight, limp, stringy, flat hair, so I decided to try a new sassy, fun, spunky look. I absolutly LOVE it! I was a little worried that it would take too long to do in the mornings, but it hasn't been too bad, yet. I can still pull it in a pony tail to get it off my face. I was also a little nervous about the bangs since I haven't had any since before high school. They have been fun and haven't bothered me at all.

Peace

This does not happen very often in our home, but both boys were napping at the same time! I actually got a few things done around the house and dinner made without stepping over one kid and having one on the counter helping!

Terrible "T"

Tyler has been so much fun lately and is always getting into something new. He likes to everything "all myself" and has made himself a waffle (in the microwave), poured his own milk, and even ran his own bath water with bubbles. If he wants to do something that he knows he is not supposed to, he will tell Jimmy or me to "go downstairs" or "go in other room." He is one smart cookie and is going to be a handful for years to come - lucky me :-)

Tyler has discovered hot chocolate!

The other night Tyler was getting ready for his bath and wanted to put his new bubbles in. We told him that was fine and one of us would help him in a minute. Jimmy and I were both in Jason's room when we heard a loud "plop". Tyler came into the bedroom and told us that he put bubbles in the tub. He poured half of the bottle in (the bottle in the picture was totally full before he got a hold of it). Needless to say he had the best bubble bath ever!

Jason isn't very fond of his jumper, but Tyler loves it!

This is where Tyler watches his favorite show, Mickey Mouse!

Going.. going...

Jason is almost on the move! Jimmy tries really hard to get him to crawl, but right now he just gets up on his hands and knees and then lunges forward and does a belly flop. He can usually get what he wants, so I guess it works for him.

Jason also thinks it is so much fun to pull himself up. He gets so proud of himself when he actually does it. I think that he would much rather walk than crawl! I am in for trouble once he can move. Tyler and Jason are going to be MAJOR trouble together :-)

What Color Are You??

You Are a Yellow Crayon
Your world is colored with happy, warm, fun colors. You have a thoughtful and wise way about you. Some people might even consider you a genius.Charming and eloquent, you are able to get people to do things your way. While you seem spontaneous and free wheeling, you are calculating to the extreme.
Your color wheel opposite is purple. You both are charismatic leaders, but purple people act like you have no depth.
