Okay, maybe not, but it sure felt like it. Tiffany and I were in the kitchen making dinner on the 4th when this HUGE gust of wind came up. All of the trees bent over and there was sand blowing all over from the park. All of a sudden, one of our trees just snaped at the base and fell over. It was one of our best trees! There was also a tree at the park that snaped in half!

Ooo, hate it when that happens! But here's a huge lesson we learned...depending on the type of tree--you have to kill the roots/stump with round up before just cleaning it up. Our aspen that came down last year is trying to re-grow all through our lawn!
Scary! Sorry about your tree :(.
