On Saturday afternoon, I got a phone call from a friend asking if I wanted to have a girls night because she had free New Kids on the Block tickets!! I wanted to go to the concert back in July when my neighbor, Jen, bought tickets. I was SO EXCITED!! I was a HUGE fan back in the day and went to their concert in Denver 15 years ago! There were 6 of us that went and we had the best time ever. I did more screaming and dancing than I have done in a very long time! It was amazing that Jordan could still hit those high notes!! They were just as cute as ever ;-) The crowd was made up of 30 something year old women acting like teeny boppers!! It was a BLAST!!!
Lady GaGa was the very first act and she was, ummm, a bit strange, to say the least!!
Natasha Bedingfield was one of the opening acts - she was really good!
Jordan sang a song with his shirt unbuttoned, with a fan blowing on him. It was really funny!! I think they did that back in the day:-) Jordan was always my favorite!! I had the buttons, posters, shirts, every tape... you name it, my sister and I had it!
This girl in front of us had this naked Jordan doll that she held the entire concert. We were cracking up!!!
We had the best seats - right next to the stage, 13 rows up!! We could see them very close when they came up on this side stage.
Hanging Tough at the very end!! Everyone got into that song - it was a blast!!

Looks so fun! I would have loved to have been there! I still have my barbie dolls of joey and johnathan (I think that's his name). I now have the song, "hangin tough" in my mind!
OMG!!! I went here in Denver and totally thought of you when Jordan sang with his shirt off!!!!! I lost my mind when Joey came on stage - he is still HOT!!!! I wish we could have gone together:( I tried to get Laura to go with me!

Ah that's way too funny!! I was supposed to go to this when they came to Denver but my company gave up the suite we had at the venue before the concert happened!! I would have loved to go there and laugh at all the 30-somethings swooning over those boys like we all used to. Hilarious... And Jordan was always my fave, too. =)
