Tyler turned 5 last week! He has been so excited for his birthday. We did not do a whole lot on his actual birthday because we went to my parents house over the weekend to celebrate. Tyler did get to take doughnuts to his preschool class on his birthday and he opened a few presents.
We were supposed to go to my parents house on Friday morning but Tyler was really sick and had been throwing up on Thursday. We started to feel a little bit better Friday morning so we went ahead and made the drive - Tyler insisted we go! Tyler was miserable the whole weekend and moved from one couch to another and then to his bed. He stayed in his jammies all weekend. He perked up a little bit when my mom showed him the cake she made and then again when he got to open his presents. Poor kid - he still is not back 100%.

My mom gave the boys harmonica's - what a great toy for a 4 hour ride home!
Jason and Kylee really enjoyed the cake. It had chocolate rocks on it and they really liked those! Kylee dug a hole in the side of the cake with her hands and Jason found every rock on the cake.

I can't believe that he is 5 already! How time flies. Hayden would be super jealous of his pj's, he is a big Super Mario fan now that we have it on Wii--where did you get those? miss you guys!
