Tyler has been so much fun lately and is always getting into something new. He likes to everything "all myself" and has made himself a waffle (in the microwave), poured his own milk, and even ran his own bath water with bubbles. If he wants to do something that he knows he is not supposed to, he will tell Jimmy or me to "go downstairs" or "go in other room." He is one smart cookie and is going to be a handful for years to come - lucky me :-)
Tyler has discovered hot chocolate!
The other night Tyler was getting ready for his bath and wanted to put his new bubbles in. We told him that was fine and one of us would help him in a minute. Jimmy and I were both in Jason's room when we heard a loud "plop". Tyler came into the bedroom and told us that he put bubbles in the tub. He poured half of the bottle in (the bottle in the picture was totally full before he got a hold of it). Needless to say he had the best bubble bath ever!
Jason isn't very fond of his jumper, but Tyler loves it!
This is where Tyler watches his favorite show, Mickey Mouse!

Going.. going...
Jason is almost on the move! Jimmy tries really hard to get him to crawl, but right now he just gets up on his hands and knees and then lunges forward and does a belly flop. He can usually get what he wants, so I guess it works for him.

Jason also thinks it is so much fun to pull himself up. He gets so proud of himself when he actually does it. I think that he would much rather walk than crawl! I am in for trouble once he can move. Tyler and Jason are going to be MAJOR trouble together :-)

What Color Are You??
| You Are a Yellow Crayon |
![]() Your color wheel opposite is purple. You both are charismatic leaders, but purple people act like you have no depth. |

Halloween
Tyler still did not want to wear his football jersey tonight, but he at least had a shirt on that looked like a jersey. He finally let us paint under his eyes and he did wear the helmet for a few minutes. We went trick-or-treating with Brooke and Payton and came home with lots of candy. He dumped it all out and had to line it up so he could see what he had.

Pumpkin Carving
Tyler had a great time carving pumpkins Monday night. He would not touch the inside of the pumpkin at all and his favorite part was, of course, lighting the candle once we were done.

Kidnapping adventure
Jimmy and I had a great time 'kidnapping' Bert yesterday! Thanks to the help of Garrett and Arien, he was safely returned. You can read all about it on Brooke's blog:

BUZZZZ
I decided that Jason needed a hair cut, so I got out the scissors and started trimming the top. You could see lines where I was cutting, so I got the clippers instead. I asked Jimmy SEVERAL times which number guard to use and if a 1 would be too short. He assured me that it would be fine, so I proceeded. I freaked out after making the first cut down the middle of Jason's head!!! It was WAY too SHORT!!! I was so mad that Jimmy told me a 1 would be okay and I wanted to cry. I had to do the rest of his head since I started right in the middle. I was still freaking out until I went next door to Jen's house and she assured me that it looked okay and would grow back soon. It really does look okay, but I just did not want it that short. Oh well, now we know what a 1 looks like:-) (and I have to admit that if you look really close in these pictures and the ones a couple of posts ago, you can hardly tell a difference).

Halloween Party
We had our ward Halloween party today and Cori and Blaine Bleshe came with us. Tyler absolutly refused to put on his cosutme, so he went as a 2 year old brat! Jason didn't have much choice in the matter, so he was dressed as a Bronco football player. Tyler was not overly excited about dressing up several weeks ago when we discussed costumes, so I kept it low key and decided on football players for both boys. The only thing Tyler would have had to put on for his costume was a jersey, but he just would not do it. We will see if he will on Halloween for some candy!! Blaine on the other hand, was so excited to wear his costume! He was a transformer. We had a great time painting pumpkins, decorating cookies and cupcakes and playing bingo.
