We went to Lagoon last week on our Stake Lagoon Day. It was TONS of fun. I took the boys with a couple of other Mom's and their boys. (There is no shortage of boys in our neighborhood). The older boys, Tyler, Peyton, and Matthew had a great time on the rides. The younger boys, Levi and Jason were stroller buddies the whole day; not able to ride many of the rides. They did get to run around and play a little bit. Overall, it was a great day and I had a hard time getting Tyler to leave because he wanted to ride more rides.

Tractors, trailers and boats
Tyler is really into tractors with a trailer to pull a boat. We have found ways to hook trailers up to almost every one of his tractors. He will pull them to the "lake", back in, put the boat in the water, let all the people get on, drive the tractor and trailer to the parking lot, do some fishing, put the boat back on the trailer, drive home and have a BBQ! This kid is hilarious!! He has this boating thing all figured out.

Oreo's & Smiles
Jason LOVES oreos and enjoyed several after dinner one night. He made such a mess that I had to take a picture. When I would say, "smile" he would squint his eyes. It was hilarious.
Every time he blinks in this picture, I asked him to smile. Sorry there is no sound.

Crazy Boys
Jason and Tyler were coloring one night and decided that it would be more fun to use Jason as the canvas instead of the boring old construction paper! They thought it was pretty funny!
The video is of Jason who woke up one night after being asleep for only an hour. Aunt Tiffy tried for 40 minutes to get him back to sleep, but he was laughing and doing itsy bitsy spider, so she brought him back downstairs. He got a little wound up and found a new game:

Snowbasin
Jimmy thought it would be fun to go up to Snowbasin and have a picnic and go for a hike. We had a great time. The weather was nice and cool. We hiked one of the easy trials and then rode the gondola up to the top of the mountain. Tyler thought that was pretty cool. The boys were able to play in snow at the very top! There is an amazing view from way up there!

BREAKING NEWS - First Ever Hurricane in Utah
Okay, maybe not, but it sure felt like it. Tiffany and I were in the kitchen making dinner on the 4th when this HUGE gust of wind came up. All of the trees bent over and there was sand blowing all over from the park. All of a sudden, one of our trees just snaped at the base and fell over. It was one of our best trees! There was also a tree at the park that snaped in half!

4th of July
We had a great 4th of July. Tiffany came down to stay with us for the weekend. We went to the Layton parade in the morning. The boys had fun dancing and getting candy. Then we went to the Bountiful Rec Center and had a blast!! The boys had so much fun playing in the water. Tyler could not get enough of the big slide - it was really fast! Jason even went down it a few times.
We had a BBQ for dinner and then did fireworks in our driveway in broad daylight! Both boys were exhausted so we knew they would not make it until it got dark and Tyler was dying to do the big fireworks. We got those little popper things and Jason was laughing so hard that he could hardly stand up. Tyler was a big helper lighting the fireworks. Both boys were in bed by 8:30.

Beat the Heat
It has been so hot here that we decided to go watch a free movie at the theater my uncle Roger works at. Blaine came along with us, and we had a great time even though the boys only made it through an hour of the movie. Roger gave the boys a 'behind the scenes' tour of the big movie reels, free popcorn, drinks and a poster.
Jason got a hold of the markers the other night and drew all over his tummy. Then Tyler decided to add to the masterpiece with stickers. Jason thought it was great!
