We had a fun Easter weekend with my family. We started out the weekend with a freezing cold egg hunt at the park behind our house on Saturday. The boys had fun, but it really was too cold! We tried to go bowling or something else but the boys did not want to go anywhere. So, we dyed easter eggs. When we went through all of the hard boiled ones Tyler wanted to do more, so we brought out the regular eggs and dyed those as well! Then my mom was telling us about an egg drop contest they did at school the day before, so we decided to let Tyler give it a try. My mom gathered supplies for him and let him go to work. He dropped it off our balcony first and then we went on the roof. It looked like so much fun that we all decided to give it a try. Each of us built a container for an egg and dropped them off the roof. Our neighbors thought we were nuts having the whole family on the roof. It was a blast! My mom was the ultimate winner as hers did not even break on the final round when we threw them off the roof into the street.
We had so much fun playing with eggs that we headed outside with a bowl of eggs and played some more games. I think that we have a new Easter tradition! We had a blast!!
Easter morning the boys got to see what the Easter bunny brought them and then hunted for eggs. We had a fun day just hanging out, eating, playing and building a monster truck (Tyler).

Happy Birthday Tyler
Tyler turned 5 last week! He has been so excited for his birthday. We did not do a whole lot on his actual birthday because we went to my parents house over the weekend to celebrate. Tyler did get to take doughnuts to his preschool class on his birthday and he opened a few presents.
We were supposed to go to my parents house on Friday morning but Tyler was really sick and had been throwing up on Thursday. We started to feel a little bit better Friday morning so we went ahead and made the drive - Tyler insisted we go! Tyler was miserable the whole weekend and moved from one couch to another and then to his bed. He stayed in his jammies all weekend. He perked up a little bit when my mom showed him the cake she made and then again when he got to open his presents. Poor kid - he still is not back 100%.
Sorry for the red eye - no time to edit.

Snowboarding Competition
A few weekends ago, Jimmy got tickets to the Snowboarding competition at Park City. We were able to go watch these snowboarders compete for the last few spots on the Olympic team. It was so much fun to actually see how much air they get! We had a blast!
The last picture is of Shaun White. He is one of the best snowboarders and was so fun to watch. He won the gold medal at the Winter X Games a few weeks ago. We were in the VIP tent and all of a sudden Shaun comes walking in to find his mom, who happened to be standing right by us.
I did not get great pictures...

Visit from Grandma Bruck
Jimmy's mom came to stay with us for a week in January. The boys had a great time playing with Grandma while she was here. We played in the snow, went swimming and just hung out.

Christmas
It is much easier for me to post a few of my digi scrapbook pages than every single picture. I just finished scrapbooking 2009 and have ordered a photo book. I can't wait to get it and see how it turns out.
