New cousin

Tyler and Jason have a new little cousin, Jaxson. My sister, Courtney, had Jaxson almost a month ago now. He was three weeks early and had to be on oxygen for a little while but is doing great and is very cute. We went to see him over Labor Day. Tyler was really sweet with him and Jason kept his distance. Jason just wondered why everything on him was so small. It was good for them to get a taste of what a new baby is going to be like in our home.

Soccer

Tyler started soccer a few weeks ago and is having lots of fun. Jimmy is coaching his team. Most of the boys on Tyler's team are really timid, so that makes the games interesting! I will try to get a good video to post.

First Day of School

Tyler started kindergarten a few weeks ago and absolutely loves it! His teacher is amazing and he has a couple of good friends in his class. He thinks it is the best thing to go to school every day now. He is doing great and really enjoys going every day.

Jason started preschool one day a week(there are 6 of us that will take turns teaching) and has had a great time as well. He was really excited about it until we pulled up to the house for the first day, then he got nervous and started to cry a little bit. I took him in and got him playing and he was fine. Now he is so excited to go and just takes off as soon as I pull up to the house. I think he likes to be big like his brother.

With Tyler going to school in the afternoon and Jason in the morning it gives me a little bit of one on one time with each one of them, at least until #3 comes along! They both enjoy that time as well.

The boys had a little bit of fun posing for the camera!

Summer Update

To say that I have been a slacker on my blog is an understatement. It has been so long since I posted that I don't even know where to begin. I am just going to post some digi scrapbook pages that my sister and I just finished of the year. This is the easiest way to get the most pictures in. We have had a great summer with friends, family, camping, swimming, and just playing outside with friends.

I guess that I should also metiontion that I am pregnant - 25 weeks to be exact! I am due November 30th and it is another boy! We are excited and have been trying to prep the boys for the new arrival. We put them in the same room with bunk beds and they seem to enjoy it so far.

Florida

I figure since it has been a few months, it is time for a new post! We just got back from a trip to Florida. We had a lot of fun and I am not sure who was more worn out at the end - us or the boys!

We went to Magic Kingdom, the beach, swam, canoed and just hung out with family and friends. We spent most of our time in Gainesville with Jimmy's family. We stayed with David and Pam. The boys had a great time at their house because they have five acres of property, a golf cart, riding lawn mower, dogs, a turtle and fish. We spent one night in St. Augustine at a condo on the beach. It was a great location and we had a ton of fun playing in the sand and pool.

We also spent one night in Orlando with some very good friends. It was a wonderful vacation and the perfect time of year to visit Florida.

Happy Easter

We had a fun Easter weekend with my family. We started out the weekend with a freezing cold egg hunt at the park behind our house on Saturday. The boys had fun, but it really was too cold! We tried to go bowling or something else but the boys did not want to go anywhere. So, we dyed easter eggs. When we went through all of the hard boiled ones Tyler wanted to do more, so we brought out the regular eggs and dyed those as well! Then my mom was telling us about an egg drop contest they did at school the day before, so we decided to let Tyler give it a try. My mom gathered supplies for him and let him go to work. He dropped it off our balcony first and then we went on the roof. It looked like so much fun that we all decided to give it a try. Each of us built a container for an egg and dropped them off the roof. Our neighbors thought we were nuts having the whole family on the roof. It was a blast! My mom was the ultimate winner as hers did not even break on the final round when we threw them off the roof into the street.

We had so much fun playing with eggs that we headed outside with a bowl of eggs and played some more games. I think that we have a new Easter tradition! We had a blast!!

Easter morning the boys got to see what the Easter bunny brought them and then hunted for eggs. We had a fun day just hanging out, eating, playing and building a monster truck (Tyler).
