Cake, dancing and more....

It has only been two months since I have updated my blog! Here is what we have been up to:

Tyler made a pillow pet for Devin. He amazes me every day with his imagination! He also drives me CRAZY with all of the MESSES that he makes!

Poor Devin handcuffed to a table. This is what happens with there are only boys in the family.

Devin's first swim. The water was a little chilly but he enjoyed it.

Silly boys! I could not get this picture to turn the right way for the life of me.

Thumb sucking buddies.

Devin loves the bumbo.

Rub a dub dub, three men in a tub!

We can never throw away a card board box without making something fun out of it first! This is a motorhome! My boys have VERY big dreams :-)

Just chillin'

Tummy time with Devin.

Tyler and Jason just love Devin! They are so good with him and always want him near. I am sure that will change soon - once Devin is grabbing their toys.

Silly boys dancing on the counter while I make breakfast. (Mandy will appreciate this one :-)

Tyler the chef

Tyler made a cake while I was nursing Devin. He did a pretty good job - it was actually edible! Of course he had to decorate the cupcakes and take them to our neighbors! They are always getting random things on their doorsteps.

3 months later...

I have been horrible about keeping up with my blog; luckily I have been able to keep up with my house and kids! If anyone is still checking my blog, here are a few pictures of what we have been up to.

Devin is now 3 months old and the best baby I have had! He eats and sleeps great and is a very happy little guy. He can roll over every once in a while and enjoys watching the madness around him. He loves his brothers, and they love him. Jason is the one that gets a little rough and smothers, but they both do great. The hardest thing about having a baby again is working around a feeding schedule.

Tyler LOVES kindergarten! His teacher is amazing and does lots of neat things with the kids. Tyler is coming along with his reading and writing. He still loves to build things and he makes a bigger mess in the few hours he is home than Jason does all day long. He also enjoys drawing and painting.

Jason is our goofball. He does preschool once a week and has a great time. He always says that he does not want to go, but he loves it when he is there. He is in Sunbeams at church this year and also does really well there. In fact, his teachers tell us that he is one of the best behaved kids in there (we think they have him mixed up with some other kid!). Jason is still very much into pirates, swords, guns and anything violent! His latest is police gear, complete with handcuffs!

We blessed Devin at the beginning of February. It was nice to have so many family members able to attend.

Devin and his cousin Jaxon (3 months apart)

Jimmy got a free hotel room at the Waldorf in Park City through work, so we spent a few days up there. The boys had a blast in the pool and our room. They each had their own big screen tv and thought it was great to watch what they wanted to while eating popcorn and hot chocolate!

Tyler turned 6!!! WOW - how did that happen??? He wanted a friend party this year, so we had a camping themed party. It was lots of fun and Aunt Tiffy made the cutest sleeping bags out of felt for their goody bags. Since Tyler does not like cake, we had doughnuts instead.

All smiles

Pirate boys

Jimmy took the boys to a monster truck show. He took Jason last year and they have both been asking to go again ever since.

Devin James

We have a beautiful baby boy! I was induced on the 22nd and everything went very well. Devin weighed 6 lbs 13 ozs and was 20 inches long. He has a thin layer of light brown/blonde hair. We still cannot decide who he looks like - he does not look like Tyler or Jason did when they were born.

Tyler and Jason are really cute with him. Jason still has a hard time remembering his name and wants to call him Jaxson like his new little cousin.

{Happy Halloween}

I am sitting at home enjoying a few moments of peace and quiet in between trick or treaters! Jimmy and the boys braved the rain to go trick-or-treating. The rain has stopped now, so hopefully they will be able to stay out a while. Jason was supposed to be a viking but changed his mind a few hours before going trick-or-treating. Luckily, we have a plethora of pirate gear at our house so it was not a big deal. I think I enjoy being the one to stay home and hand out candy.

Halloween Fun

These are a few of the things that we have been up to this month. Tyler and Jason each had field trips to a really fun pumpkin patch. We did a neighborhood field trip to the fire station. We played in the leaves and, of course, carved pumpkins. Hopefully I will be on the ball and get pictures from Halloween posted before Thanksgiving :-)

Birthday weekend

It was my sisters birthday a few weeks ago and my parents and sisters came to celebrate. Tiffany decided to go sky diving. She has been wanting to do it for a while and finally decided to take the plunge. The rest of us went to watch her jump. She had a great time! We also went to a trout farm to let the kids fish. They had more fun feeding the fish than catching them, but it was still lots of fun. We had a girls night and ate dinner at the Melting Pot.

New cousin

Tyler and Jason have a new little cousin, Jaxson. My sister, Courtney, had Jaxson almost a month ago now. He was three weeks early and had to be on oxygen for a little while but is doing great and is very cute. We went to see him over Labor Day. Tyler was really sweet with him and Jason kept his distance. Jason just wondered why everything on him was so small. It was good for them to get a taste of what a new baby is going to be like in our home.

Soccer

Tyler started soccer a few weeks ago and is having lots of fun. Jimmy is coaching his team. Most of the boys on Tyler's team are really timid, so that makes the games interesting! I will try to get a good video to post.
